Brew City Builders was founded in 2003 by Dan and Amy Terrill with a simple vision, to provide honest, hardworking craftsmanship in high end deck and porch construction. Over 20 years later, we've built hundreds of custom outdoor spaces throughout southeastern Wisconsin.

What started as one truck, one skilled builder, and a dream has grown into one of the region's premier deck building companies. But our core values remain the same. We treat every project like it's our own backyard and never compromise on quality.



Our Story

A legacy of honest work & lasting quality.

Dan brought over 20 years of experience as a cabinet maker and general contractor when he founded Brew City Builders. His background in fine woodworking gave him the skills to build decks that weren't just functional but beautiful. Amy stepped in to help with the business, and as demand grew, so did the team.


In the beginning, we specialized in cedar decks. As the industry evolved and low maintenance materials gained popularity, we evolved with it. Today, we're proud specialists in Timbertech Advanced PVC decking. For traditional wood decks, we also work with Prowood, a treated pine infused with iron that looks like cedar.
